WomanUP!® Live! - "Business Planning Tips"

Updated: 6 days ago

The October WomanUP!® Monthly Live session delves into Business Planning for 2025! This engaging event featured insightful speakers Luisa Zepeda and Sabrina Brown, who shared strategies to position your business - and your personal life - for success in the upcoming year. Whether you’re looking to refine your goals, enhance productivity, or craft a robust growth plan, this session equips you with the tools and inspiration you need to thrive.

Sabrina Brown, founder and broker of Pink Key Real Estate, actively contributes on local, state, and national committees, including Habitat for Humanity and the Women’s Council of REALTORS California. Luisa Zepeda, founder and broker of Brilla Real Estate, boasts over 20 years in the industry and serves on both local and state committees, as well as the Women’s Council of REALTORS California.

In this episode, we cover essential business tips. We encourage you to calendar all meetings and events for the year, along with non-negotiable family days and vacations. This approach allows you to confidently say yes or no to new opportunities, ensuring they align with your goals. Remember, opportunities for growth and giving should always relate back to your “why.” Understanding your “why” makes accessing the financial aspects of your business plan much easier.

To make progress, define your “why,” schedule your commitments and personal time, set your objectives, and assess the work needed to reach those goals. Regular monthly or quarterly reassessments will help you evaluate what’s working and what isn’t.

This Live Show covered numerous other valuable tips. Throughout October, we’ve shared a business planning tip each day. Join our Facebook group and follow us on Instagram to catch them all!

A strategic plan is key to crafting a solid business plan. Viewing your business plan as a life plan helps you achieve personal goals while incorporating essential business elements, guiding you toward your desired future. Strategic plans should outline goals you wish to achieve in the next 2-3 years, serving as stepping stones in your business plan. Creating a vision board can help keep you focused on these goals.

We invite you to share one (or more) of your goals with us. As Sabrina suggested during the Live Show, regularly reviewing our goals is crucial to staying aligned and making necessary adjustments. If you’re interested, please take a moment to fill out this form with your goals. We’ll check in with you quarterly to see how you’re progressing. (Rest assured, your goals will remain confidential.)
